Intentistic
“A fictive play with four-syllable-words from a intense personification.”
This experience is transformed by the multidisciplinary Dutch artist Patrick
Verhoeven (1973) into experimental, electronic, eclectic, cut-up compositions.
Besides music he works in two and three- dimensional and new media. Sampling,
reinterpretating and redefining existing expressions of different media; like
advertisements, postcards and record sleeves as a big melting pot for the
ingredients of the work. The detached works often forms one piece together.
An installation where the human is degenerated in a chainwheel of the
think-gait: He is, or awards himself, as the center that is turning around as a
timer. The size of the pentagon and the dodecaëder has the measures of the person itself.
An installation for a fair composition. The fair is more an impression than a
tangible fact, it brings the definitions: desire, romance, offensive and
hallucination in the end, very close together.
The sky's the limit, City structure, Ritmische stadspatronen, Impassive in noise
The work is about imaginary citystructures inspired by electronic diagrams,
printed circuit boards, and/or the golden ratio, ordered according to ritmic
patrons.

god
A concept for a never performed piece of music as a colourful surrealistic cyber
story from black till the blue screen of death.
Mixed self-played interprated covers filled with well-known acapella's.
A musical travelreport in time from the Second World War, the wall, east and
west, to Christiane F and the German reunification.
A decadent musical report "first we take the decadence than we take Berlin".
Intentistics 12-inches of Berlin *Starring Patrick Verhoeven, also with sexy artwork!
Take the U or S-Bahn to the animated interpretations of the Berlintracks 2
filled with typical Berliner buildings and neonlights. And see Joel Grey, der
Fernsehturm, Nico, David Bowie, die Siegessäule, Knut, Dr Motte, das Ampelmännchen, Iggy Pop, a 3D Metropolis city and the places where Patrick lived and
drank his beer. By most of it record sleeves are the startingpoint for the
animations, sometimes the animated story in itself.
Was Nazi architecture erecting for the death?
1. H-protest - It's like an anonymous pamphlet filled with words and names starting with a
H. (only in Dutch)
.words that are attracted to each other
.words that have something to do with each other
.words that tell something about each other
3. Warenhäuser, Galgenhumor, Luftschutzraum - Based on sarcastic Berliner War jokes.
H-protest - It's like an anonymous pamphlet filled with words and names starting with a H.
It's drawn in two big Fraktur fonts, a type wrong associated with Nazi Germany
now! Because the Nazi's themselves outlawed the font in 1941 as being
"Judenlettern".
(for more information check Wikipedia.org "Fractur")
Metropolis filmposter - Filmposters inspired by the originals of 1927 for the song "One more
Metropolis".
Those advertisements became the start of the website. They are original travel
advertisements transformed into realistic trips through Berlin with all kind of
specialties like the wall, Plattenbauten Ostalgie, Christiane F highlights and
famous graves of Berlin.
